Dock Leveller

A-lift Hydraulic Dock Leveller

The Dock Leveller is the special equipment for the cargo loading and unloading, let the operation of the material handling equipment are not influenced by the different height of trailer bed with the platform, such as the forklift. It may drive into the trailer compartment to carry on the handling operation directly, it only requires a single person to complete the process of loading and unloading cargo fast and safely. It can help reduce a lot of the labour cost, improve working efficiency by many times, obtain the better economic efficiency, it is indispensable to the modern warehouse necessary.

Why Do You Need a Dock Leveller?

Efficient Loading and Unloading
The possibility of moving across a single horizontal surface is one that removes many complications from the process of moving cargo from loading area to vehicle. Eradicating the need for external logistics such as forklifts, cargo can now be moved at maximum speed, much like they would be moved on normal, flat areas.
Ensuring Products are Delivered Undamaged
The ability to move cargo and products at pristine condition is a factor that creates distinctions between warehouse buildings. Buildings appear more accommodating when the cargo of their clientele can be moved free of damage. Dock levellers ensure that products can be moved in one, singular motion, reducing any impact that they may take from being lifted and put down repeatedly, from platform to platform. In addition, dock levellers also dampen the impact of vehicles against dock doors.
Lorem Guarantee The Safety of Your StaffDolor
Dock levellers, especially hydraulic ones, comprise of lifting cylinders that have emergency stop valves within them. This is especially integral in the event that one of the unloading platforms are compromised. For instance, if a lorry drives off prior to a load being taken off the platform. Not to mention, a dock leveller creates a single level for cargo movement, safeguarding staff at all times. This saves them from exerting copious amounts of force to transfer cargo between levels.
